<title>About the Summit Fire</title>
<description>
You may have seen news reports about a fire in the Santa Cruz Mountains. This fast growing fire was first reported early Thursday, 22 May 08. At present and in current projections, the fire will not be near any SIA 2008 venues or routes.

<title>Tour Cancellations</title>
<description>
With great reluctance, we have been forced to cancel Thursday Tour 2 - Rediscovering Industrial Santa Clara, Friday Tour D - Valley of Heart's Delight, and Friday Tour F - How Green IS my Valley. For a variety of reasons outside of our control, attendance is quite low so far, and there were too few people to stage these tours. Since much of the research for these tours is already complete, notes about them will be placed on the Conference web site shortly, for you to see your own favorites.

<title>Registration Clarification</title>
<description>
There has been some confusion about what is included in full Conference registration (regular and student). Registration includes: tours on Thursday, Friday and Sunday, the Opening Reception on Thursday, the Paper Sessions and
Annual General Meeting, including the luncheon, on Saturday. The Saturday Banquet is optional and is not included. A low cost option for those who want to attend only the Paper Sessions and the luncheon has been provided. This does not
include any other activities. The on-line version of the brochure and registration form have been updated. We regret
any confusion.
